Community Advisory Board

The purpose of the Next Step Treatment Center Community Advisory Board (CAB) is to:

  • Provide independent advice and feedback to the NTSC Executive Committee

  • Advocate for the people we serve in the community

  • Promote the goal of NTSC which is: "Improving the behavioral health and wellbeing of the individuals and families in our communities."

The Next Step Treatment Center Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a committee comprised of providers from the behavioral health system, advocates, and community members.  The Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss the functioning of the behavioral health programs at NSTC.  The goal of the CAB is to promote greater community collaboration and to ensure that we are addressing current behavioral health issues as they arise within the overall treatment system and community.  Because the Advisory Board includes members from the community, it offers a unique outside perspective on the overall behavioral health system.

Meetings

The Advisory Board meets the second Wednesday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Next Step Treatment Center.
